Launched Nuclear Strike Simulator — an interactive, physics-based educational tool covering two modes: Blast Effects (select any warhead and click anywhere on the map to instantly visualize fireball, radiation, thermal, and pressure wave zones with casualty estimates) and Launch Simulation (choose a country, warhead, and delivery vehicle, set a launch origin and target within the vehicle's range, and watch an animated great-circle ballistic trajectory with real-time flight distance and elapsed time). Both modes support air burst and surface burst configurations. The simulator draws entirely from the HiWars equipment database — warheads and delivery vehicles are live data. After impact, the Estimated Effects panel shows source, target, distance, and flight time alongside blast zone radii. Fully internationalized across all 20 supported languages.

Expanded nuclear delivery vehicle database: added 5 North Korean ballistic missiles (Hwasong-14, Hwasong-15, Hwasong-17, Hwasong-18, Pukguksong-3) and filled in speed data for 50 delivery vehicles across all 9 nuclear states that were previously missing speed specifications.

Added Equipment Unit and Inventory sections to Country Detail pages. Each nation's page now displays a breakdown of military equipment units in service (aggregated by equipment type with active/inactive status) and equipment inventory records, giving a clearer picture of a country's military hardware.

Updated equipment section images. Most military equipment now features higher-quality, more realistic images for improved visual accuracy across the equipment database.

Added Manufacturers pages and global map. Browse 557 military equipment manufacturers worldwide with list view, detail pages showing company info and equipment, and interactive map view with clustering for easy exploration.

Added Strategic Regions classification and filtering system for Intel Reports. All intel reports are now automatically tagged with strategic geographic regions (Africa, East Asia & Pacific, Europe, Latin America & Caribbean, North America, Russia & CIS, South & Central Asia, West Asia) based on their associated locations using PostGIS spatial queries. The strategic region filter appears as tab navigation on the intel list page, matching the category navigation style for consistent user experience. Report detail pages display strategic regions in the Classification section. Admin users can manually adjust strategic region assignments or trigger automatic re-inference from locations.

Launched interactive Nations World Map visualization. The map provides comprehensive geographic exploration of global nations with data-driven insights. Features include: real-time data visualization with three metrics (defense budget, GDP, population), continuous white-to-blue gradient coloring based on logarithmic scaling for balanced visual representation, marker styles (country flags or proportional circles), click-to-view detailed country statistics in a rich sidebar (economy, military, demographics, geography), infinite horizontal scrolling for seamless global navigation, multiple map themes (light, dark, satellite, terrain, minimal), integrated control panel with zoom controls and color gradient legend, empty area click to close sidebar, and full internationalization support across all 20 languages. The map serves as a powerful tool for comparing national capabilities and understanding global military-economic landscapes at a glance.

Added interactive Conflict Relationship Graph to conflict detail pages. The force-directed graph visualizes relationships between conflicts, belligerents, key personnel, and events. Belligerent nodes display country flags, and person nodes show avatar photos. Features include hover highlighting of connected nodes, click-to-navigate to detail pages, node type filtering via legend, zoom/pan controls, fullscreen mode, and responsive layout (collapsible on mobile). Powered by Sigma.js with Canvas rendering for smooth performance.

Launched Points System and Community Intelligence Submission. Users can now earn and spend points through various activities: creating forum threads (costs 5 points), submitting intel reports (costs 10 points, refunded upon approval), receiving upvotes on forum posts (earns 1 point), and daily login rewards (earns 1 point). Users can submit intelligence reports from public sources through a streamlined workflow that includes duplicate detection, automatic content extraction from URLs, and AI-assisted translation. Submitted reports undergo team review before publication, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Added comprehensive country statistics to nation detail pages and comparison pages. Statistics now include 29 indicators across 6 categories: Demographics (population, urbanization, life expectancy), Economy (GDP, inflation, trade balance), Industry (manufacturing output, industrial production), Defense (military expenditure), Technology (R&D spending, patent applications, internet penetration), and Infrastructure (logistics, electricity access, transportation). Data spans multiple years to show historical trends.

Added global search functionality to the header navigation. Users can now search across all entity types (Nations, Belligerents, Conflicts, Equipment, Events, People) from anywhere on the site. The search features real-time results with 300ms debounce, requires minimum 3 characters, displays results grouped by type with relevant metadata (flags, manufacturers, dates), and supports keyboard navigation. Results automatically update as you type and clicking any result navigates to the corresponding detail page.

Launched Equipment Comparison feature allowing users to compare up to 4 military equipment items side-by-side. The comparison page displays detailed specifications, service periods, manufacturers, and countries of origin in a unified table view. Comparison selections can be shared via URL, making it easy to collaborate and discuss equipment differences.

Expanded equipment database with approximately 1,500 new military equipment entries, including weapons systems, vehicles, and hardware from various nations. All equipment records now include SEO-friendly URL slugs for improved discoverability.

Added social sharing functionality to Intel Report pages, enabling users to share reports on X (Twitter), Facebook, and other social media platforms with pre-formatted content including report title, summary, and direct link.
