【环球时报-环球网报道 记者 张志文】The British maritime trade organization announced on March 1 through its social media account that a vessel located in northern Oman, east of the Strait of Hormuz, was attacked by an "unidentified object" above the waterline.
The organization stated that the vessel "although initially reported to have a fire in the engine room, the fire has now been brought under control." The statement also added that relevant authorities are conducting an investigation.
Earlier today, the organization also reported a similar incident near Kumzar in Oman, located at the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz.
