中蒙“草原伙伴-2026”陆军联训举行开训仪式
The "Grassland Partner-2026" joint army training ceremony between China and Mongolia was held on the 30th at a joint training base in Inner Mongolia.
During the opening ceremony, the joint training commanders from both sides reviewed the participating troops and delivered speeches. Over 600 officers and soldiers from both China and Mongolia attended the ceremony.
This joint training focuses on the theme of joint operations against illegal armed organizations, aiming to continuously deepen friendship and mutual trust, strengthen practical cooperation, and enhance the capability to jointly maintain regional peace and stability. This marks the second time the armies of China and Mongolia have conducted this series of joint training.
It is understood that the Chinese troops participating in this joint training are primarily composed of armored forces from a certain brigade of the 79th Group Army. During the training, both sides will establish a joint command post and conduct realistic training on topics such as joint command and coordinated strikes, further enhancing the two armies' ability to jointly respond to security risks and carry out missions.
