两国陆军首次！中巴“喀喇昆仑-2026”陆军联合训练举行开训仪式
On the morning of October 14, the opening ceremony of the China-Pakistan "Karakoram-2026" Army Joint Training was held at a base in Korla, Xinjiang. This marks the first joint army training between China and Pakistan.
After the ceremony, both sides organized exchanges on combat cases and counter-terrorism experiences, and Pakistani personnel visited some of the Chinese military's weaponry and equipment.
It is reported that the Chinese team for this joint training is composed of personnel selected from a unit of the Xinjiang Military District. In the upcoming period, both sides will conduct training and exercises in a mixed format.
This joint training aims to take advantage of the opportunity to train alongside foreign militaries, enhance mutual understanding, deepen exchanges and cooperation, showcase the technical and tactical level and combat style of our military, and learn beneficial experiences from foreign military preparedness training, thereby promoting the development of troop construction and enhancing combat readiness capabilities.
