The spokesperson for the East China Sea Branch of the China Coast Guard, Zhu Anqing, stated that on August 29, the Fujian Coast Guard conducted routine law enforcement patrols in the waters near Kinmen in accordance with the law. Since August, the Fujian Coast Guard has organized a fleet of vessels to continuously strengthen control over the relevant maritime areas, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of fishermen on both sides of the strait as well as their safety and property, and ensuring the normal navigation and operational order in the Xiamen-Kinmen waters.
