According to news from Germany on May 12 local time, Germany will invest over 10 million euros to participate in an EU initiative to build a military training center within Ukraine. During his visit to Ukraine, German Defense Minister Pistorius stated in Kyiv that the relevant funds will be used to construct a complete military training center.
Pistorius stated that these training facilities located within Ukraine are aimed at helping the Ukrainian military maintain its combat capabilities.
Reports indicate that since the escalation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, nearly 27,000 Ukrainian soldiers have received training in Germany.
