Iranian media has just released footage of the missile launch by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targeting a U.S. Air Force base today (May 28). In the early hours of today, local time, the U.S. military conducted airstrikes on a location in the suburbs of Abadan Port, and subsequently, Iran retaliated against the U.S. Air Force base that initiated the attack. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei issued a statement today, strongly condemning the U.S. military strikes on certain areas of southern Iran's Abadan Port, stating that this act is a blatant violation of Iran's territorial integrity and national sovereignty, and a serious breach of international law and the United Nations Charter. Baghaei pointed out that the United Nations Security Council has the responsibility to fulfill its legal obligations and hold the U.S. accountable.
