伊朗原子能机构：纳坦兹核设施遭美以袭击
【环球时报-环球网报道 记者 赵益普】The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization stated on the 21st that Iran's main uranium enrichment facility—the Natanz nuclear facility—was attacked by the United States and Israel, marking the "second attack on this nuclear facility since the first week of the war."
The statement indicated that the strike by the United States and Israel on the 21st violated international law, commitments, and other nuclear safety regulations, including the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. It also noted that after the attack on the Natanz nuclear facility, Iran's nuclear safety center conducted monitoring for radioactive material leaks in the area, and the results showed that there is currently no radioactive material leakage, and surrounding residents have not been affected.
The Natanz nuclear facility is located 220 kilometers southeast of Iran's capital, Tehran. During the "12-Day War" that broke out in June 2025 between Iran and Israel, this nuclear facility was also targeted in an Israeli airstrike.
According to U.S. sources on the 20th, the United States is formulating strategic plans to seize Iran's "nuclear reserves."
On the 21st, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated via social media that it has received and is investigating reports from Iran regarding the attack on the Natanz nuclear facility that day.
The IAEA stated that it has not received any reports of increased nuclear radiation risk at this time.
