加沙地带民防部门发言人马哈茂德·巴萨勒在声明中说，以色列战机自黎明至中午对加沙地带多个目标发动空袭，包括警察局、居民楼以及流离失所者居住的帐篷，共造成28人死亡。
以色列国防军当天发表声明，证实对加沙地带发动了一系列空袭，并称空袭目标是哈马斯和巴勒斯坦伊斯兰圣战组织（杰哈德）的指挥官及基础设施。
哈马斯在声明中说，以军对巴平民的“屠杀”行为，是对当前局势的升级，蓄意破坏停火协议。声明呼吁协议担保国及美国立即采取行动，迫使以色列停止军事行动、结束针对平民的袭击，并切实执行协议相关条款。
