On July 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in the past day, the Russian military struck Ukrainian military ammunition depots, fuel depots, drone production workshops, and drone storage facilities. Additionally, the Russian military targeted energy and transportation infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces, as well as temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas, and took control of the Red Kut settlement in the Donetsk region. The report also stated that during the day on the 28th, the Russian military continued to strike ports and vessels used for supplying the Ukrainian military.
On the 28th, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the Ukrainian military conducted strikes on multiple military-related facilities in Russia, with a core target being a joint enterprise located in the Udmurt Republic of Russia. This facility is a closed national-level strategic fuel reserve base. In addition to the strategic fuel depot, the Ukrainian side also attacked several regions' warehouses of Russian military material and technical equipment, fuel and lubricants, and drone warehouses.
