On the afternoon of June 25, the Ministry of Defense held a regular press conference, where Senior Colonel Zhang Xiaogang, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, answered reporters' questions.
Zhang Xiaogang: In late June, at the invitation of the government of Seychelles, the 48th escort task force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy, aboard the Tangshan ship, will visit Seychelles and send a contingent to participate in the military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of Seychelles' independence. This marks the first time that China has participated in the military parade in Seychelles, which will help further deepen the strategic mutual trust and traditional friendship between China and Seychelles, and contribute to building a community with a shared future between China and Africa in the new era.
