东部战区在台湾岛两端进行海上突击、空中防御和反潜演习

On December 30, the Eastern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army organized destroyers, fighter-bombers, and other forces to conduct verification and identification, warning and expulsion, simulated strikes, as well as exercises on maritime assaults and air defense anti-submarine operations in relevant sea areas at both ends of Taiwan Island. This tested the capabilities of joint sea and air operations and integrated control and containment.
