On March 31 local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement indicating that they are targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre and several other areas.
With the Israeli military crossing the Litani River to launch an offensive, the temporary ceasefire that began on April 17 has effectively ceased to exist. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health on the 30th, the Israeli military conducted airstrikes on multiple locations in southern Lebanon from late on the 29th to the 30th, resulting in at least 15 deaths and multiple injuries. Earlier data released by this department indicated that since the resumption of hostilities on March 2, Israeli attacks on Lebanon have resulted in 3,371 deaths and 10,129 injuries.
