这个女兵入伍12年,两次荣立二等功!是啥情况?

Recently,
relevant military and local leaders visited
Guojia Town, Dehui City, Jilin Province
to present a commendation letter to
soldier Wang Shuang of the 78th Group Army
and her family.
Wang Shuang's mother received the commendation letter
and expressed her excitement, saying,
“We are grateful for the army's careful training.
My daughter’s achievements are a source of pride for our entire family.”

Growing up on the black soil of Northeast China,
Wang Shuang has always had a spirit of daring and adventure.
In 2014,
while studying in her sophomore year at Northeast Normal University,
she was inspired by a recruitment slogan:
“My youth should not only be about books and classrooms,
but also about the country and the borders.”
She resolutely signed up for military service.
After the 2015 September 3rd military parade,
Wang Shuang, then a private,
held flowers and welcomed the
“Pingxingguan Battle Assault Company” model unit's parade.
Watching her comrades' resolute faces
and upright military posture,
a seed of dream took root in her heart.
“One day,
I will also march past Tiananmen,
receiving the review from the Party and the people.”
In 2019,
during the military parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China,
Wang Shuang fulfilled her wish to become a member of the marching team.

Since joining the army,
Wang Shuang has served in various positions such as a telephone operator and medic,
always fulfilling her duties responsibly.
In 2020,
Wang Shuang participated in the Army's “Four Skills” instructor competition,
competing alongside male soldiers.
She started training an hour early every day
and ultimately achieved fourth place overall,
and first place in the medical rescue category.
She was recognized as an outstanding “Four Skills” instructor by the Northern Theater Army.
In 2022,
Wang Shuang was reassigned to the medic position,
and for three consecutive years,
as a member of the group army's psychological service team,
she conducted psychological assessments for thousands of officers and soldiers.
She enthusiastically helped soldiers relieve psychological pressure,
and was affectionately called “Sister Heart-to-Heart” by everyone.

In February 2025,
the group army formed a parade team,
and Wang Shuang immediately submitted a letter of intent to participate,
but unfortunately was not selected.
Just when she thought she would miss the parade,
she unexpectedly received a new task
to serve as the instructor for the equipment team.
During a demonstration,
with her head held high, saluting, and calling out commands,
Wang Shuang stood tall,
her military posture precise, swift, and powerful like a textbook.
Subsequently,
thunderous applause erupted from the ranks.
As the only female instructor in the team,
her squad won the “Outstanding Squad Red Flag” award four times.
Due to her exceptional qualities,
she was later added to the parade team,
and with the highest standards,
she accepted the review from the Party and the people.

Since enlisting,
Wang Shuang has been awarded second-class merit twice,
and third-class merit twice.
She was recognized by the 78th Group Army as a
“Model for Strengthening the Army and Refining Military Skills.”
From the communication post in the white mountains and black waters
to the parade formation on Chang'an Street in the capital,
she has watered glory with her sweat
and written loyalty with her hard work,
allowing the elegance of women to shine in the military camp.
