扎波罗热核电站接连发生3起无人机袭击事件
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated on the 28th that earlier this week, three drone incidents occurred at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, highlighting the ongoing risks to nuclear safety during armed conflicts.
According to the IAEA report, on August 25, a drone launched an attack near the cooling pond of the nuclear power plant, injuring two staff members. On the 26th, another drone exploded at the site of the nuclear power plant's spent fuel dry storage facility, and a third drone reportedly struck the sprinkler system of the nuclear power plant's power unit.
The IAEA indicated that the radiation levels at the nuclear power plant site remain within normal ranges.
