2022年12月入列，3年多来，红河舰的航迹跨洲、跨越赤道，先后完成远海护航、战备巡逻等多项重大任务，交出了三年十万海里的深蓝答卷。
六十年荣誉传承
“海上猛虎”战力跃升
除了航迹十万海里的成绩引人注目，红河舰还有一个特殊称号，也让它不断挑战自我，那就是“海上猛虎艇”荣誉称号。
在1958年9月的海战中，第一代“海上猛虎艇”556艇直面吨位6倍于己的敌舰灵活机动，始终处于最佳射击位置，将敌舰打成“马蜂窝”。
1965年的崇武以东海战中，面对数倍于己的国民党军舰，人民海军588艇与兄弟艇密切配合，发挥近战、夜战优势，凭借“小艇打大舰 海上拼刺刀”的血性，一举击沉“永昌”号护航炮舰，击伤“永泰”号大型猎潜舰，取得了重大海战胜利，被国防部授予“海上猛虎艇”荣誉称号。
2026年是“海上猛虎艇”命名60周年。60年，四次换装、五代传承，“海上猛虎艇”的接力棒交到海军红河舰。从75吨的小炮艇到4000吨的国产新型导弹护卫舰，“勇猛顽强 敢打必胜”的“海上猛虎精神”历久弥新。
