Recently, a certain brigade of the 82nd Group Army of the Central Theater Command organized armored infantry units to conduct a coherent live-fire shooting comprehensive assessment at an unfamiliar outdoor range, focusing on the core subjects of individual vehicle and unit combat. This assessment comprehensively tested the integration of firepower within teams and the collaborative assault capabilities of the units.

Upon the issuance of the assessment order, each armored infantry squad quickly completed weapon inventory, vehicle equipment verification, and personnel combat grouping, and maneuvered towards the designated shooting area from multiple directions.

During the maneuver, the assessment team set up various real combat scenarios on the spot. After the individual vehicle assessment concluded, the focus shifted to the platoon collaborative fire strike subject. Each armored infantry platoon quickly seized shooting positions, dividing the firepower zones into near and far areas. Squads alternated in advancing and sequentially constrained the enemy, with distant and close-range weapons firing in layers and cross-firing to suppress the enemy. The firepower was seamlessly connected, forming a dense suppressive fire.

This assessment broke the traditional model of separate item evaluations, implementing multiple subjects in a coherent manner with random guidance throughout the process. It comprehensively tested the collaborative and real combat response capabilities of the teams, promoting training that aligns with battlefield needs and continuously solidifying the foundation for armored infantry assault operations.
