On April 16 local time, Oleg Kiper, the military and political leader of Ukraine's Odessa region, stated via social media that the Russian attack on Odessa has resulted in 8 deaths and 16 injuries.
Kiper pointed out that the attack caused significant property damage, with multiple residential buildings, ports, and critical infrastructure in the city being destroyed. Rescue personnel have rushed to the scene to carry out response efforts.
