Recently, a certain brigade of the 76th Group Army conducted a comprehensive practical exercise at a field training ground, focusing on core subjects such as military supply, fuel and ammunition transportation, and equipment repair. This exercise aimed to test the efficiency of the troops' transition between peacetime and wartime and their overall support capabilities in the field.

Officers and soldiers responded promptly to orders, quickly organizing themselves according to wartime formations, with site setup, camouflage, and equipment debugging progressing simultaneously. At the water supply guarantee point, testing personnel rapidly collected samples for testing, while the water purification vehicle simultaneously connected to the water source to carry out purification operations, ensuring that the drinking water in the field met safety standards.

Yang Jiakai, a member of the 76th Group Army brigade: When conducting field water quality testing, we must be thorough and meticulous; any testing data that does not meet standards cannot be used. Only by ensuring that our comrades can drink clean and safe water can we feel at ease.

At the medical treatment point, a small drone was the first to take off for integrated air-ground search and rescue, quickly locking onto the location of the "injured." The rescue team strictly followed the principle of graded treatment, providing on-site care such as hemostasis, bandaging, and immobilization for lightly injured personnel; meanwhile, at the combat position, the cooking team was preparing hot meals using a mobile kitchen when they suddenly received an alert about the exposure of their position.

Upon receiving the relocation order, the officers and soldiers quickly gathered their equipment and mobilized vehicles. At the same time, the supply team faced a road damaged by enemy fire; the commander quickly assessed the situation and directed the convoy to turn around and take a detour, ensuring that the supply chain remained uninterrupted. In the equipment repair area, the crane team was towing overturned vehicles for emergency repairs, while facing damaged artillery equipment, the soldiers used a winch on a flatbed to quickly complete the transport of damaged equipment, minimizing the repair cycle for combat losses.

Xi Long, a member of the 76th Group Army brigade: We are integrating various support elements, transforming from a single support circuit to a comprehensive support system. We simulate enemy situations throughout the city and respond to emergencies, aiming to practice our weaknesses, focus on real combat training, and hone the troops' comprehensive support capabilities, ensuring that we can deploy, supply, repair, and win at any time.

Seasonal Maintenance in the Snowy Plateau: Being a Guardian of the "Iron Brothers"

In the snowy plateau, maintaining the combat effectiveness of weaponry and equipment is fundamentally supported by proper maintenance. Recently, a certain regiment of the Xinjiang Military District conducted a comprehensive inspection of the "Iron Brothers" in a high-altitude, low-oxygen environment, solidifying the foundation for the troops' high-altitude support.

With significant temperature differences between day and night and continuous erosion from wind and sand, issues such as aging seals and rusted pipelines frequently arise. Soldiers meticulously cleaned and replaced oil, tightened components, and removed rust from each piece of equipment. During the maintenance process, equipment specialists from the company took the stage to teach all soldiers about key points in high-altitude equipment maintenance, common fault troubleshooting, and seasonal operation standards, transforming frontline maintenance experience into shared training materials for everyone.

Yan Weixuan, a member of the Xinjiang Military District regiment: We face numerous difficulties and challenges in maintenance in the snowy plateau, deeply realizing how severe the test of the plateau environment is on equipment. Every screw and every pipeline must be handled with care. This seasonal equipment maintenance involved synchronizing equipment repairs and vehicle retraining, relying on the high-altitude training environment to regularly conduct practical operations and emergency driving training, exploring new methods for equipment support under cold conditions, and promoting the simultaneous enhancement of maintenance capabilities and combat readiness.
