On July 19, the United States released a video believed to show the moment on July 18 when an Iranian missile struck a U.S. military base in Jordan. In the video, after the missile hits a building, flames erupt, and someone shouts in English, "Go, go, go."
According to the U.S. Central Command, the attack resulted in 2 U.S. military personnel dead, 1 missing, and several injured, with 4 requiring hospitalization.
The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that in response to the U.S. military attack, on July 18, they launched missile and drone strikes against the aircraft shelters and large tarmac at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Azraq, Jordan, "destroying at least 2 fighter jets and 3 other aircraft, and severely damaging several other aircraft."
