In the rapidly edited footage, aircraft carrier formations, amphibious assault ships, submarines, carrier-based fighter jets, carrier-based anti-submarine helicopters, early warning aircraft, hovercraft landing boats, and even shore-based anti-ship missiles and air defense missile systems are all set into motion, launching a barrage of attacks. Amidst the tremendous explosions resulting from precise strikes, the exercise was a complete success. Military expert Song Xiaojun noted that the recently unveiled Z-20F carrier-based anti-submarine helicopter is particularly noteworthy in this footage.
Song Xiaojun: After the Z-20F entered service, its range is very long, exceeding 1,000 kilometers. In addition to conducting anti-submarine operations for its own ship, it can also provide anti-submarine escort for aircraft carriers, offering a highly compatible aerial anti-submarine capability for our country's relatively new large 055 and 052D destroyers. From this perspective, equipping our domestically produced vessels with the Z-20F is indeed a significant highlight. Its appearance in the promotional video has invigorated everyone.
