PzH 2000

The PzH 2000 was developed by German industry to replace older self-propelled artillery with a highly automated, long-range 155 mm system. Its development reflected late Cold War and post-Cold War priorities: rapid fire missions, high ammunition handling efficiency, strong crew protection, and NATO-standard 155 mm compatibility. PzH 2000 entered German service and was later adopted by several NATO and partner countries.
