Finnish precision-rifle family
mediumThe Sako TRG family developed from Finnish target and sniper-rifle work into a widely exported bolt-action precision rifle line.
The Sako TRG family began with the TRG-21 and TRG-41 in the late 1980s and evolved into the TRG-22, TRG-42, and later TRG M10. It drew on Finnish target-rifle experience and earlier Valmet/Sako sniper work, but used a purpose-designed precision action rather than a modified hunting rifle alone. The family became internationally respected among military, police, and precision-shooting users.
