SkyStriker

SkyStriker is a fixed-wing loitering munition that gives operators the ability to search, track, and attack from a single expendable air vehicle. It is designed to carry an explosive payload while remaining relatively quiet and difficult to detect compared with larger aircraft. Its role is tactical precision strike against targets that may not be visible at launch.

Loitering weapons are valuable when targets appear briefly or move before conventional fires can be coordinated. SkyStriker can remain airborne, let the operator decide whether to attack, and then dive onto the target. This makes it relevant for counter-battery missions, vehicle attacks, and operations where aircraft or artillery support may not be immediately available.

Recent conflicts have made loitering munitions central to battlefield surveillance and strike. SkyStriker is part of that wider trend: a relatively low-cost aircraft can threaten targets that would previously require a missile, aircraft sortie, or artillery mission. In HiWars, it helps explain why drone-like weapons now deserve full equipment-page treatment.
