The M93 Black Arrow is a Zastava 12.7 mm bolt-action anti-materiel rifle.
The M93 Black Arrow, or Crna Strela, is a Serbian heavy rifle produced by Zastava Arms. Yugoimport material identifies the 12.7 x 108 mm M93 system, while Forgotten Weapons provides historical and handling context. The database country tag is Dutch, but the article content should clearly describe the weapon's Serbian origin.
The rifle is designed for anti-materiel and long-range precision tasks using heavy 12.7 mm ammunition.
The Black Arrow is a specialist rifle for disabling equipment, light vehicles, communications gear, and other materiel targets. Its 12.7 mm cartridge gives it much greater effect than standard sniper calibers, but at the cost of weight, recoil, and portability. The bolt-action layout favors deliberate fire over rapid engagement.
The M93 is notable because it offers a non-Western .50-caliber-class precision option for military users.
The M93's importance is partly industrial. It shows how Zastava extended its small-arms portfolio into heavy anti-materiel rifles for domestic and export markets. Readers comparing it with TAC-50, Barrett, or NTW-20 entries get a clearer view of the wider anti-materiel rifle category.
