Turkish Army T-26B light tank (opening-stock lower bound)
1934 – 1943
Overview
A conservative one-tank lower bound from an Istanbul University historical thesis: the first Turkish tank battalion was formed in 1934 with 64 Soviet T-26 tanks. This establishes a pre-opening Turkish Army holding; it does not convert the cited procurement batch into a claimed 1936 ready-for-action total. The reviewed mapping is armor-light.
