Recoil-Mitigation Submachine Gun Concept
The Vector was built around a mechanical attempt to reduce muzzle climb in compact automatic fire.
The KRISS Vector originated from Transformational Defense Industries and KRISS USA as a compact weapon family built around the Super V recoil-mitigation system. Instead of treating recoil control as only a matter of weight or muzzle devices, the design attempted to redirect bolt movement downward. That made the Vector notable even among many modern pistol-caliber carbines and submachine guns.
