Development history
mediumSwitchblade 600 extends the Switchblade family from man-portable precision attack into longer-range anti-armor loitering munition roles.
Switchblade 600 was introduced as AeroVironment's larger anti-armor member of the Switchblade loitering-munition family. It built on the smaller Switchblade 300 concept but added longer reach, greater endurance, and a heavier multi-purpose anti-armor warhead for hardened or vehicle targets. Later demonstrations, including air launch from an MQ-9A, show AeroVironment positioning the 600 as both a ground-launched tactical weapon and an air-launched effect.
