The scale of the strike becomes a backdrop, while the decisive significance shifts to another question: which nodes are being targeted and how quickly can they restore lost functionality. Why the night of August 30 is more important than another loss report

No raid on Yeisk, Millerovo, or Kirishi will, by itself, collapse the Russian strike campaign. It would be naive to claim otherwise. In reality, the war is increasingly shifting towards a duel between production, repair, logistics, and recovery time. Ukraine is trying to turn each subsequent Russian night of mass strikes into a more expensive night than the previous one.
The paradox is that a state that has spoken for decades about the depth of its strategic rear is today forced to prove anew that this rear actually exists, and is not just depicted in staff presentations.
