The statement indicated that the aircraft, numbered FAB-409, took off from El Alto International Airport near the country's administrative capital, La Paz, that day, carrying out assistance and transport tasks on the La Paz to Cochabamba route. During the flight, the aircraft, which had been maintaining normal contact with air traffic control, suddenly lost contact, prompting relevant authorities to activate emergency response plans. After several hours of searching, rescue personnel ultimately discovered the wreckage of the aircraft in the Sayari Mountain area. The Bolivian Air Force subsequently confirmed that there were no survivors.
Preliminary investigations showed that the six people on board died due to impact. The Bolivian Air Force stated that it has initiated an accident investigation procedure.
