In 2010,

Liu Lin was selected through rigorous screening

to become a soldier in the Women’s Special Operations Team of the

Falcon Assault Team of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force

Her two years of military service

not only cultivated her strong military qualities

Upon completing her service,

with outstanding overall qualities,

Liu Lin was admitted to the “Golden Eagle Assault Team” of the Tianjin Public Security SWAT,

which is now the Tactical Sniper Team of the Public Security Bureau of Tianjin

From the military camp to the police camp,

the seemingly similar paths

and in terms of physical strength,

While others bench press 80 kg, she presses 100 kg

While others do 5 sets of dumbbell lifts, she does 8 sets

While others hold a gun for 1 minute, she practices for an additional 2 minutes

Once a week, she runs 10 kilometers

Regularly does 5 kilometers of heavy load cross-country

These are the “iron rules” she set for herself

She repeatedly broke through her physical limits,

Integrating the fighting spirit honed in the military camp

into every detail of police training,

ultimately mastering various special police skills

and even being able to hold her own against male special police officers,

and sometimes even outperforming them.

Shooting is Liu Lin's forte

“Hitting the bullseye from a hundred paces” is her specialty

Liu Lin says

Repeating an action 2000 times

can form muscle memory

Repeating it 8000 times can form a conditioned reflex

And repeating it more than 10000 times

can make it an instinctive reaction

Day after day of monotonous repetition,

thousands of times of aiming, targeting, and firing,

her hands are covered with calluses and scars,

and she has reached an extreme tacit understanding with her firearms

Liu Lin designed quick and precise shooting tactics for female officers

based on her own characteristics and the practical needs of police work,

and promoted them throughout the city’s police system

The courses she participated in won second place

in the 2023 Tianjin Public Security Bureau’s boutique micro-course competition,

becoming a practical model for police shooting training

Through countless days and nights of training,

Liu Lin gradually transformed into the renowned “female sharpshooter” of the police force

She has repeatedly stepped onto top domestic and international stages

to compete with top experts,

showcasing the style of Chinese police with medals and honors

In 2019, Liu Lin represented Tianjin Public Security

in the shooting events of the 18th World Police and Fire Games

During the training period,

she ran 5 kilometers, swam 3 kilometers,

and fired 400 rounds of ammunition every day…

With her unyielding tenacity,

she completed over 3 months of “devil training”

On the competition stage,

Liu Lin remained calm and performed steadily,

winning first place in the gender-neutral police pistol

combat shooting expert category,

outperforming top competitors from around the world

In 2024,

she participated in the “Blade · Mission” National Police SWAT Challenge,

helping Tianjin SWAT achieve the best historical result of fifth place overall

and first place among municipalities and northern provinces

In 2025,

she participated in the police competitive reality show “Police Special Training Program”

and faced off against the top SWAT officers nationwide,

winning the title of “Golden Shield Star”

With her outstanding style and remarkable achievements,

Liu Lin has been awarded the titles of “National Young Skilled Worker”

“National Model of Women’s Contribution”
