Chinese Navy hospital ship "Peace Ark" concludes visit to Guinea
Xinhua News Agency, Conakry, October 11 (Zhang Gan, Zhou Jianlong) The Chinese Navy hospital ship "Peace Ark," on its "Harmonious Mission-2026," concluded its friendly visit to Guinea on the 10th and departed from Conakry Port.
Since arriving in Guinea's capital, Conakry, on the 3rd, the hospital ship has continuously provided medical services to the local population, successfully performing multiple surgeries including cataract removals and large lipoma excisions. It dispatched a medical training team to the China-Guinea Friendship Hospital for exchanges and sent a medical outreach team to a certain camp to provide medical services, earning widespread praise from various sectors of Guinean society.
During the visit, the task force held a deck reception and organized representatives of officers and soldiers to participate in cultural exchange activities at the Confucius Institute of the University of Conakry. Chinese and Guinean military personnel also held a friendly basketball match to further enhance understanding and deepen friendship.
