Explosions Heard in Ukraine's Capital, Kyiv Mayor Claims Ballistic Missile Attack
On the 5th local time, air raid sirens sounded in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, accompanied by continuous explosions.
Shortly after, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the city of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast were hit by a ballistic missile attack, and the local air defense system had urgently activated interception operations, with missiles still flying towards the urban area of Kyiv.
