On June 2, Xinhua News Agency reported from Paris (Reporter Qiao Benxiao) that French Foreign Minister Barrow stated in an interview with the country's media that Israel's military actions within Lebanon are "completely unjustified."

Barrow said that Israel has the right to defend itself against attacks from Hezbollah, but the military actions and ongoing occupation by Israel within Lebanon are "completely unjustified." The French side calls on Hezbollah to stop attacking Israel, while Israel should cease its strikes on Lebanon.

According to French media reports, the 2026 European International Defense Exhibition will be held in mid-June in the suburbs of Paris, and the French side will prohibit the display of offensive weapons manufactured by Israel. Barrow stated that the French position is "consistent," and the Israeli weapons exhibited must be defensive.
