According to Zhu Anqing, spokesperson for the East China Sea Branch of the China Coast Guard, on April 24, the Fujian Coast Guard conducted regular law enforcement patrols in waters near Kinmen in accordance with the law. Since April, the Fujian Coast Guard has organized a fleet of vessels to continuously strengthen law enforcement patrols in the waters near Kinmen, further enhancing the control over the relevant maritime areas, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese fishermen, including those from Taiwan, as well as their safety and property, and ensuring the normal navigation and operational order in the Xiamen-Kinmen waters.
