The Houthi armed group announced on the 8th local time that on the evening of that day, they launched two cruise missiles at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as well as one ballistic missile at Najran Airport, and one ballistic missile at the Al-Hamimiyah Air Force Base. This was the third statement made by the Houthi armed group on the 8th claiming attacks on King Khalid International Airport.

The Houthi armed group stated that the aforementioned attacks "accurately hit the targets," causing disruptions to air operations at both Riyadh and Najran airports, and claimed that the airports and Al-Hamimiyah Air Force Base were damaged.

The Houthi armed group also stated that Saudi Arabia had launched 59 airstrikes against Houthi-controlled areas in the past 24 hours, targeting the Yemeni capital Sana'a as well as Al-Jawf, Taiz, Marib, Al-Hudaydah, Hajjah, Saada, Lahij, Raymah, Ibb, and Al-Bayda provinces.
