India's Defense Budget Reaches 85 Billion USD
参考消息网2月3日报道 据法新社2月1日报道，印度财政部长在1日发表的国家预算演讲中说，印度将在基础设施和国防方面投入创纪录的资金，其中包括高速铁路、潜艇和战斗机等项目。
新德里在2026/2027财年的预算中，计划在基础设施方面投入1330亿美元，在国防方面投入850亿美元，较上一财年分别增长约9%和15%。
财政部长尼尔玛拉·西塔拉曼在议会说，数据中心、人工智能以及稀土开采和加工也将获得政府支持。
她说，公共基础设施支出大幅增长，已达到“历史最高水平”。
此次国防支出增长的背景是，印度去年5月与宿敌巴基斯坦爆发了短期冲突。这场冲突造成至少70人死亡，双方都大量使用了无人机以及密集的导弹和炮火攻击。
印度国防部长拉杰纳特·辛格称国防支出规模“史无前例”，这将有助于为印度武装部队配备战斗机、无人机、舰艇、潜艇和其他关键装备。

新德里目前正与国内供应商以及包括法国、美国和德国在内的国外供应商，就国防合同进行谈判。
