Iran claims to have struck enemy advanced fighter jets
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran stated on the evening of April 2 local time that the Guard Corps "hit an enemy advanced fighter jet using a new type of air defense system" south of Qeshm Island, Iran's largest island. The Guard Corps reported that the fighter jet fell into the Persian Gulf after being hit.
