Iran condemns the US attack on Iranian coastal radar facilities.

Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, June 6 - The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the U.S. attack on Iranian radar facilities along the Persian Gulf coast on the same day, stating that this attack is an infringement on Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the U.S. military attack on radar facilities in the Sirik area and off the coast of Qeshm Island early that morning, saying that the U.S. has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement, further proving its unwillingness to ease tensions and return to a stable course, but instead poses a serious threat to regional security through reckless actions. The U.S. should bear full responsibility for all consequences and impacts of its illegal actions, as well as any escalation of the situation that may arise from them.

In addition, the Iranian Foreign Ministry urged international organizations such as the United Nations Secretary-General and the United Nations Security Council to respond swiftly and effectively to the U.S.'s ongoing blatant violations of the ceasefire agreement and its illegal actions, to prevent the normalization of actions that violate the United Nations Charter and endanger regional and international peace and security.
