Iran Launches 65th Offensive Targeting Haifa Oil Refinery and Other Objectives
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, March 19 - The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported on the 19th, citing a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, that Iran launched the 65th wave of the "Real Commitment-4" operation that day, targeting the oil refineries in Haifa and Ashdod, a series of security targets and military support centers in Israel, as well as some U.S. bases in the Middle East.
The statement said that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps used the upgraded "Nasrullah" missile based on the "Qader" missile for the first time in the 65th wave of the operation.
The Israel Defense Forces earlier stated that debris from an intercepted Iranian ballistic missile fell on the Haifa oil refinery. Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said that this attack "did not cause significant damage to the infrastructure."
