Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 5 - According to a report by Iranian state television on the 5th, the Iranian Islamic Republic Army announced that the Iranian military used drones to attack petrochemical infrastructure near the Israeli southern city of Dimona and a U.S. military base located on Kuwait's Bubiyan Island on the morning of the same day.
The announcement stated that the Iranian military launched drone strikes on the "petrochemical industrial facilities and oil product storage tanks" near Dimona, as well as on equipment warehouses, satellite communication facilities, and the U.S. military command center within the Bubiyan Island military base, as a decisive response to the U.S.-Israeli strikes.
The announcement noted that the Israeli petrochemical industry, oil products, and underground emergency fuel reserves targeted in this round of strikes are crucial for meeting the energy needs of the southern region of Israel.
