Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, June 10 - The Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, Khatam al-Anbiya, issued a statement on the 10th declaring a "fierce strike" against U.S. military bases in the Middle East. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also issued a statement that day, claiming to have launched a drone attack on the U.S. Fifth Fleet facilities located in Bahrain.

The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated in its announcement that in response to the U.S. military's "aggression" against southern Iran under the pretext of a helicopter crash, the Iranian military and the IRGC conducted a "fierce strike" against U.S. military bases in the Middle East. The statement warned that if the U.S. military infringes on Iran again, Iran will carry out "more intense and broader" strikes on predetermined targets in the region.

The public relations department of the IRGC stated in its announcement that early that morning, the U.S. attacked multiple locations in Iran under "false pretenses," resulting in damage to a telecommunications tower in the Sirik area and the destruction of two reservoirs. In response to the "evil actions of the enemy," the IRGC launched a drone attack on the U.S. Fifth Fleet facilities located in Bahrain. The statement warned that if hostile actions continue, "a more severe counterattack is imminent."

The IRGC also stated that Iran "intercepted and destroyed" an MQ-9 Reaper drone in Bushehr Province and conducted missile strikes against a U.S. military base located in Jordan.
