Iran vows to continue striking US military bases, warns countries cooperating with the US will face consequences.

In the early hours of September 2 local time, a spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbia Central Command issued a statement saying that U.S. forces recently carried out airstrikes on multiple military and non-military targets in southern Iran, resulting in civilian casualties. In response, the Iranian armed forces launched attacks on U.S. military bases in the region using missiles and drones. The related attacks caused significant damage to U.S. military infrastructure, weapons, and equipment, and resulted in a considerable number of casualties among U.S. commanders and soldiers.

The statement indicated that military actions against U.S. forces would continue until the U.S. "regrets its actions." It also warned that if the U.S. continues military operations in the region, it will face a "heavier, broader, and more destructive" response, and any country cooperating with U.S. forces must bear the "dangerous consequences" that arise from this.

Previously, U.S. forces launched a new round of strikes against targets of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps within Iran, with multiple locations along the southern coast of Iran being attacked. Following the strikes, Iran initiated counterattacks, targeting U.S. military bases in the region and shooting down a U.S. MQ-9 drone.
