Iranian Armed Forces Announce Victory Over US and Israel in Conflict

Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 8 - The Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, Khatam al-Anbiya, issued a statement on the 8th, announcing victory in the 40-day resistance war against the United States and Israel, and stated that it is prepared to face a "more intense, longer, and broader war."

The statement noted that over the past 40 days, the Iranian Armed Forces have targeted U.S. military bases in the Middle East and significant military, security, and economic objectives of the Israeli army, inflicting extremely heavy casualties and economic losses on the U.S. and Israel, with the initiative in the war completely slipping from their control. Ultimately, the U.S. and Israel "yielded" to the ceasefire conditions proposed by Iran. This demonstrates Iran's capability to defeat the enemy on any level.

The statement emphasized four points: First, Iran has absolutely no trust in the U.S. and Israel and is closely monitoring all their movements in the region. If they make another mistake, Iran will retaliate in a "more intense and lethal manner"; second, Iran will proactively and intelligently manage the Strait of Hormuz; third, Iran does not pose a threat to regional countries, and regional countries should cooperate with Iran to drive out the U.S. military, the "greatest source of insecurity"; fourth, the Iranian Armed Forces will seize every opportunity to enhance defensive capabilities and will fully maintain order and security in the Persian Gulf and international waterways after hostile forces withdraw.
