Iranian media: Explosions reported in multiple locations in Iran
On July 21, Xinhua News Agency reported from Tehran (reporter Chen Xiao, Shadati) that from the evening of the 20th to the early morning of the 21st, multiple explosions were heard in Iran's southern Hormozgan Province and southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan Province, and the air defense system in Bushehr Province has been activated.
The report stated that explosions were heard in the counties of Abbas Port, Sirik, Reng Port, and Qeshm in Hormozgan Province, as well as in the counties of Chabahar and Konarak in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
According to local officials cited in the report, at least 14 explosions were heard in Chabahar and Konarak.
Additionally, Iranian media reported that early on the 21st, explosions were also heard in the major southern city of Shiraz and the central city of Isfahan.
The U.S. Central Command announced on social media on the 20th that the U.S. military launched a new round of strikes against Iran at 4 PM Eastern Time on the 20th.
