Iranian Media: Iran is Prepared for the Resumption of War

Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 19 - According to a report from the Iranian Tasnim News Agency on the 19th, Iran is prepared for the resurgence of conflict, and if hostilities resume, it will make the enemy experience unforgettable "hellish moments."

The report states that in light of recent movements by the U.S. military, including naval deployments, weapons transport, reconnaissance flights, and air defense deployments, Iran assesses that there are two possible scenarios and has taken necessary countermeasures.

The first scenario is that the U.S. intends to use these military preparations to create psychological pressure in order to gain leverage at the negotiating table. However, just as past pressures and threats have failed to influence negotiations, this time will not be effective either.

The second scenario is that the U.S. is fabricating a narrative around negotiations to provide cover and deception for a raid on certain Iranian islands. Over the past year, the U.S. has launched attacks on Iran twice during negotiations while continuously claiming progress in those talks.

The report indicates that Iran believes the likelihood of renewed conflict is higher than that of continuing negotiations and has made full preparations for this. If hostilities break out again, Iranian infrastructure will become a target for attacks, and Iran will completely abandon the previous restraint it maintained regarding certain energy companies and facilities in the Strait of Mandeb, as well as those of Saudi Aramco, the Yanbu Industrial City in Saudi Arabia, and the Fujairah Port in the UAE.
