Iranian military:

Strikes on 14 U.S. military bases in the Middle East

On the evening of February 28 local time, reporters from the Central Station learned from the Iranian Red Crescent that on that day, 24 provinces across Iran were attacked by the U.S. and Israel. As of now, over 200 people have died in the attacks, and another 747 have been injured.

On the afternoon of the 28th local time, the public relations department of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that multiple U.S.-Israeli missiles failed to hit their targets and instead fell in the deserts and urban areas of Iraq and other countries in the Persian Gulf region. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported that at least 200 U.S. military personnel were casualties in the missile strikes initiated by Iran.

Sources from the Iranian military stated that 14 U.S. military bases in the Middle East have already been attacked by Iran.

At 1 a.m. local time on March 1, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the fourth notice. The announcement stated that during the fifth wave of military operations of "Real Commitment 4," a U.S. warship carrying ammunition located at Jebel Ali Port in the UAE was attacked by four drones, completely losing power and exploding.

Additionally, a U.S. Navy base in Kuwait was attacked by four ballistic missiles and 12 drones, with all infrastructure destroyed and numerous U.S. military personnel casualties. An MST-class combat support ship transporting fuel in the Indian Ocean was also struck by Iranian missiles.

The public relations department of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard announced that the Saudi Arabian Sultan Prince Air Force Base was precisely attacked by Iranian missiles and drones. The Guard also announced that the Khalil military base in Iraq was hit by missile strikes, which is said to house U.S. special forces and commandos.

Trump:

Multiple "exit strategies" reserved for actions against Iran

On the 28th local time, the U.S. Central Command stated that its forces repelled hundreds of Iranian missile and drone attacks. There are currently no reports of U.S. military personnel casualties or combat-related injuries. The damage to U.S. military facilities is minimal and has not affected combat operations.

Two U.S. officials revealed that the U.S. military used "Tomahawk" cruise missiles to suppress Iran's air defense systems during the strikes against Iran. Additionally, the U.S. military also employed one-way attack drones.

U.S. President Trump stated on the 28th that he has reserved multiple "exit strategies" in the "Epic Wrath" operation against Iran.

Trump said, "I can intervene for a long time and take control of the entire situation, or I can end it all in two or three days." He warned Iran, "If you plan to restart your nuclear and missile programs, then we will see each other again in a few years."

Trump mentioned that Iran was once close to reaching an agreement but then withdrew from negotiations. He said, "From this, I learned that they actually do not want to reach an agreement." Trump stated that after the U.S. and Israel launched a joint operation, he spoke with Netanyahu that day and had a good conversation, with both sides in agreement.

Israeli military:

Severely damaged Iran's core offensive capabilities

Reporters from the Central Station learned that on the morning of March 1 local time, the Israeli military stated that the Israeli Air Force has completed a new round of airstrikes against Iran, targeting Iran's ballistic missile launch systems and air defense systems. The targets of this airstrike were missile launch systems and air defense systems in western and central Iran.

The Israeli military also stated that it attacked several launch sites in central Iran that had not previously been included in the targets.

The Israeli military stated that the strikes on these launch systems and other infrastructure "thwarted dozens of missile launches aimed at Israeli territory and severely damaged the core offensive capabilities of the Iranian regime."

▲ On the evening of the 28th local time, the Israel Defense Forces released footage showing the interception of an Iranian drone aimed at Israel earlier that day.

Chinese representative calls for

Immediate cessation of military actions

On February 28 local time, the United Nations Security Council held an emergency meeting regarding the situation in Iran. China's permanent representative to the United Nations, Fu Cong, stated at the meeting that the U.S. and Israel brazenly launched military strikes against Iran, leading to a sudden escalation of the regional situation, which China is deeply concerned about.

Fu Cong pointed out that China has consistently advocated that all parties should adhere to the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, opposing and condemning the use or threat of force in international relations. He emphasized that the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of Iran and other regional countries must be respected.

Fu Cong expressed deep sorrow over the large number of civilian casualties caused by the conflict. At any time, the red line of protecting civilians in armed conflict must not be crossed, and indiscriminate use of force is unacceptable. He called on all parties to fulfill their obligations under international law, including international humanitarian law, to effectively ensure the safety of civilians and avoid attacks on civilian facilities.

Fu Cong pointed out that the use of force is not the correct way to resolve international disputes and will only exacerbate hatred and contradictions. The escalation of the situation in the Middle East does not serve the interests of any party. Resolving conflicts and differences through dialogue and negotiation is the only way out. China calls for an immediate cessation of military actions to prevent the situation from escalating further.

Fu Cong stated that the military strikes occurred while diplomatic negotiations between the U.S. and Iran were ongoing, which is shocking. Relevant parties should demonstrate political sincerity and quickly resume dialogue and negotiations, returning to the correct track of political resolution.

Fu Cong expressed that China is willing to work with the international community to gather efforts for peace and promote the early restoration of peace and stability in the Middle East.
