According to reporters from the General Station, on March 5 local time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran publicly released a video showing the moment its new aerospace defense system intercepted a hostile fighter jet.
Earlier that day, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement claiming that its air defense system successfully hit a U.S. F-15E fighter jet, causing the aircraft to crash near the southwestern border of Iran. The U.S. Central Command responded by stating that the claims circulating on social media about the U.S. F-15E being shot down in Iran on the 4th are "baseless."
