Iranian Red Crescent: Multiple Non-Military Facilities Targeted in Airstrikes
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, March 31 (Reporter Chen Xiao, Shadati) - The Iranian Red Crescent Society stated on March 31 that multiple non-military facilities in Iran were attacked by U.S. and Israeli airstrikes.
On the evening of the same day, the Iranian Tasnim News Agency reported, citing the Iranian Red Crescent Society, that several non-military zone facilities in Iran were struck by U.S. and Israeli airstrikes a few hours earlier, including the Mubarak Steel Company located in central Isfahan, a stainless steel enterprise in the southwestern Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, a meteorological facility in Bushehr, and a residential complex in Malard, Tehran Province.
The report stated that according to international humanitarian law, attacking non-military zones and residential areas across the country is a blatant violation of the fundamental rules of warfare and constitutes a "war crime."
