Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Denies Attacking Any Country Since Ceasefire
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 10 - The public relations department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated in a statement early on the 10th that since the ceasefire, the IRGC has never launched any weapons at any country.
The statement pointed out that if the relevant attack incidents reported by external media are true, then the perpetrators are undoubtedly Israel or the United States.
The statement also indicated that if the IRGC strikes any target, it will be announced openly and frankly through an official statement. Any actions not mentioned in the IRGC's official statements are unrelated to Iran.
The 9th was the second day of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire. The Kuwait National Guard stated that several drones penetrated into Kuwaiti airspace, attacking multiple facilities, and the air defense system intercepted them. The attack caused damage, but there were no casualties.
Additionally, the Iranian Tasnim News Agency reported early on the 10th that an informed source denied that the Iranian negotiating delegation had arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. This informed source stated that as long as the United States does not fulfill its commitment to ceasefire in Lebanon, and the Israeli regime continues to attack Lebanon, the negotiations will remain suspended.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it has not launched any attacks since the ceasefire on April 9, 2023, attributing any reported incidents to Israel or the U.S. The IRGC emphasized that any military actions would be officially announced. Concurrently, Kuwait's National Guard reported drone incursions into its airspace, leading to damage but no casualties. Negotiations are currently stalled due to U.S. failure to uphold ceasefire agreements.
